There is nothing like having a hot bowl of chili on a chilly day. Yes, I know what I just said…
This chili is easy to make and can be made on the stove or in the crockpot. I used “ground chuck for chili” in this recipe. I like using this cut because the finished product will have nice sized chunks of meat. Let’s grab our ingredients and get started.
Ingredients
1 lb browned ground chuck (The package will say “for chili” on it.)
1 large onion (chopped)
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp season salt
2 tsp oregano
4 tsp cumin
2 tbsp beef bouillon
16 oz water
1 14.5oz can roasted diced tomatoes
1 14.5oz can zesty chili style diced tomatoes
2 15.5oz cans kidney beans
2 tbsp tomato paste
Instructions
Brown ground chuck. Add onions to the meat and cook until translucent. Drain completely.
Return ground chuck to the pot and add all ingredients. Add 2 tbsp of beef bouillon to 16oz of water. Make sure to stir completely then add to pot. Stir bouillon mixture with other ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour. This is a great “dump and go” meal. There is really nothing to it.
Let me know how it goes in the comments section. What changes did you make? See you soon!
